Carl Fruth is the founder and chairman of Lupburg-based FIT AG. He studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich and has more than 20 years’ experience in Additive Manufacturing.


FRANZ LEHMANN - Trumpf Venture GmbH

With a broad understanding of technology as well as experience in business strategy, Investment Manager Franz Lehmann shapes the industry of the future together with innovative Company founders. He was previously a strategy consultant for international projects (in particular digitisation and growth strategies)
at McKinsey. In addition to a German computer science degree and a French engineering degree, he holds an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs. Franz Lehmann worked as a ski instructor alongside his studies, coaching others to reach the finish line faster, and still likes to spend his free time up on the slopes.


ARNO HELD - AM Ventures Holding GmbH

Arno spent seven years working in strategy and business development for EOS, the world-leading provider of industrial Additive Manufacturing technology. Arno Held has been supporting startup companies in successfully entering the world of 3D Printing since 2008 and as Chief Venture Officer he is now in charge of the investment team at AM Ventures Holding, independent sister company of EOS and the world-leading strategic investor focusing on industrial 3D Printing.



Michael Sorkin became Managing Director of Formlabs GmbH in 2015, after founding and successfully establishing his own company, iGo3D, making him responsible for the American company’s activities in Europe.


CHRISTIAN STEIN - coparion GmbH & Co. KG

Christian Stein is Managing Director of COPARION, a 225m Euro venture capital fund. Christian has been an investor since 2007, after working for leading international companies such as The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Ernst & Young and IBM, as well as for fast-growing startups.


KEVIN REEDER - beteiligungsmanagement thüringen gmbh

Kevin Reeder is Managing Director of beteiligungsmanagement thüringen gmbh. He is a native of America and a graduate in business administration with an MBA degree in Oxford. After working for investment companies in Denver and Zürich he was investment manager for bm|t between 2013 and 2014. Before returning to bm|t in 2017 he was a strategic advisor to the management of M-KOPA, a high-growth company in Eastern Africa.



Iris Bröse is Agile Coach and Organizational Development Manager at BigRep, the Berlin-based manufacturer of large-format 3D printers. Prior to that, she worked as a Project Manager Start-ups and 3D Printing in Germany's largest digital association  Bitkom and has represented the interests of tech startups and the 3D printing industry nationwide. She studied Business Informatics and Sustainability Economics and volunteers for the Hackerstolz association by organizing hackathons.
