Dear AM family, users and visionaries,
the countdown is running: the digital Rapid.Tech 3D will start in a few days. Visitors can expect a triad of congress live stream, virtual expo and online networking. The congress presents application-oriented AM solutions under the motto of sustainability.
You can still secure your tickets now. We look forward to your participation and the exchange with you.
DIGITAL CONGRESS WITH A LOOK TO SUSTAINABILITY
The topic of sustainability will run like a red thread through the specialist congress. In their key presentations, experts from Daimler Buses, the Federal Association of the German Aerospace Industry and Liebherr-Aerospace will highlight how AM supports the path to climate-neutral mobility. At the end of the first day of the congress, representatives from BASF, Roland Berger, Heraeus and SPEE3D will discuss the topic of "AM and sustainability". The challenges and procedures are deepened in nine specific specialist forums.
Sebastian Künne from Otto Fuchs KG shows the potential of the Selective Laser Melting (SLM) process for fast, flexible and resource-efficient production of individual 3D-printed components.
Dr. Klaudius Henke from the Technical University of Munich outlines in his lecture the possible uses of wood for additive manufacturing in construction.
The fact that ground peach kernels can make a contribution to sustainable AM processes is the topic of Dr. Lisa Kühnel from the TU Bergakademie Freiberg. The scientist explains how the renewable raw material can be used for binder jetting.

DIGITAL ATTENTION AS AN EXHIBITOR AT RAPID.TECH 3D
In the virtual exhibition area of Rapid.Tech 3D, visitors can get an idea of current developments and innovations in the fields of materials, systems engineering, software, processes and design for additive manufacturing. More than 20 companies and research institutions present their products and services here. Digitally there are, for example, the 3D printing materials specialist AM Polymers as well as leading technology partners and service providers such as Additive Innovation, Antonius Köster, CT Core Technology, Dassault, Farsoon, HP, Stratasys, toolcraft and Zeiss. Additive Tectonics, a pioneer for AM in architecture and construction, shows examples of how industrial 3D printing can be used to build more efficiently and at the same time more individually. In addition, the Fraunhofer Society and the Ernst Abbe University of Jena will present their research portfolio and current developments in the field of 3D printing.
You can still be part of Rapid.Tech 3D until June 17th, 2021 and book your digital stand.
